Reissue of the release from The Dregs, the final album by the Jazz/Rock fusion band also known as The Dixie Dregs which hit #56 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. Led by the exceptional guitar playing of Steve Morse and featuring T. Lavitz on keyboards and new member Mark O'Connor on fiddle/violin, this remains one of the band's finest /5(24).

Cut At Sterling Sound. LP Appears Virtually Unplayed. “Although They Dropped The "Dixie" From Their Name In , Industry Standard Is Still Basically What One Would Expect From The Dixie Dregs. It Also Proved To Be The Band's Last Album Before They Disbanded, With Fans Having To Wait Ten Years For A Reunion And A New Record.

This album was out of print by the time I was turned onto Steve Morse and the Dregs. What a wonderful find now! "Assembly Line" kicks it into gear, and "Crank It Up" is an enjoyable tune WITH VOCALS! The rest of the album doesn't disappoint either. Thank you Wounded Bird records for releasing this and many other out-of-print gems/5(24).
